Marketing and Communications Intern 

Here's a video I produced that now lives on New Beginning's homepage. I worked directly with the CEO to create this video. This video was created to be shown to partners and investors to explain New Beginning's AI clinics and their role in supporting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Below are samples of some of the content I made for Hillel's Instagram. I created these posts in Canva and posted using buffer publish and a content calendar.

J202 - Food Insecurity Interview Story

For my J202 intro to mass communications class, I created a website with multiple interview stories and information. My topic was the new mandatory meal plan that came out on campus and how it perpetuates food insecurity on campus. Below is some of my work from the project, but more can be found on my website.

Magazine Interview

Here is an interview I conducted with a homeless student on campus. We discussed the new mandatory meal plan on campus and its impact on food insecurity. I created the magazine layout using Adobe InDesign.

Audio Interview

Here is an audio interview I conducted with a student activist who works at, F.H. King Students for Sustainable Agriculture, an organization concerned with land, food, and community. 

Agency Member- J463 Digital Media Strategies

I worked remotely as part of our student agency, Blueprint PR, for my digital media strategies class. I worked with a team of six other students to create a 360-degree digital marketing campaign for our real client Streblow boats. We were responsible for three different pitches throughout the semester we presented directly to our client. 

Below are slides that show our overall media tactics final plan we worked on. We presented these slides to the Streblow team. I made the slides using Canva.

Research Director - J345 Principles of Strategic Communication

Below is a campaign book I worked on for Purina DogChow. My agency and I developed a promotional and media campaign for Purina to increase sales for the Principles of Strategic Communication class. I worked as the research director where I focused on company history, industry trends, and competitors to infer a SWOT analysis, key issues, and implications. Using this information my team and I was able to identify the campaign’s target consumer using demographics and psychographics from Simmons OneView.

Geography 370

These are some maps I created for my intro to cartography class using ArcGIS and Adobe Illustrator. This class was for my digital studies minor and helped me learn a lot about digital design.

Here is a value-by-alpha map I made for my final project. I used ArcGIS and Adobe Illustrator to create this map. Data for this map was gathered using Google trends indexes of music genre popularity per state. The darkest values depict the least market share of the most popular genre within that state. 

Here is a map I made using ArcGIS and Adobe Illustrator to demonstrate the number of female governors in the US since 1909. 44 women have served and/or are governor of a U.S. state from 1909-2019

The Dish Magazine

The Dish is UW-Madison’s premier food & dining magazine. I was a member and contributor with The Dish. I got to work with amazing people and meet fellow foodies. Below is a piece I wrote for The Dish on my favorite comfort food: bagels.
